Insider Jeff Sneider corroborated the rumours and stated that there are difficulties in reuniting some of the main stars, including Emma Watson, for the revival. In addition, some members of the original cast are reluctant to collaborate with J.K. Rowling, the creator of the franchise, as a result of her transphobic remarks that sparked a significant uproar.
Sneider said, “Emma Watson is the toughest one to get back into this, particularly with everything that J.K. Rowling has said and stands for.”
According to the Fandomwire reports, Daniel Radcliffe, who portrayed Harry Potter in all eight films in the series, has the same opinions as his co-star Emma Watson. Despite the fact that the actor has stated he is reluctant to play the Chosen One in the ninth film due to his ideological disagreements with author J.K. Rowling.
