Anuradha Paudwal’s first song

Anuradha Paudwal was born on 27 October 1954. She spent her childhood in Mumbai and was always fond of singing. Anuradha Paudwal started her career with the film Abhimaan. In this film, she sang a shloka song for Jaya Bachchan, after which the magic of her voice started working. After this, she sang in the film ‘Kalicharan’ in the year 1976 and then in the film ‘Aap Beeti’ which was her first solo song.

Swara Nightingale also got status

Anuradha Paudwal used to sing songs in films as well as in stage shows and people used to come and sit before listening to her voice. Anuradha Paudwal did about 300 stage shows with Kishore Kumar and made a different identity in the cinema world with her voice. Not only this but she has also been given the status of Swar Nightingale of India. It is also said that when she was at her peak, she stopped singing songs in films.

Anuradha Paudwal’s superhit songs

After Anuradha Paudwal stopped singing songs in films, she started singing bhajans, and kirtan songs and convinced people with her voice. People used to sit for hours to hear her voice. Talking about Anuradha’s songs, she has done ‘Dhak-Dhak Karne Laga’, ‘Hum Tere Bin’, ‘Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi’, ‘Nazar Ke Samne’, ‘Jis Din Teri Meri Baat’, ‘I don’t sleep’. And sang many super hit songs including ‘Bahut Pyaar Karate Hain’, which people still like to listen to.

Honoured with this award

Anuradha Paudwal also received many awards for her songs. Let us tell you, the singer has been awarded the Filmfare Award thrice for films like ‘Aashiqui’, ‘Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi’, ‘Beta’. Along with this, she was also honoured with Padma Shri in the year 2017. There was a time when her name was taken in the street. Once, famous composer, OP Nayyar said, ‘Anuradha has replaced Lata’.

Anuradha Paudwal’s personal life

Anuradha Paudwal’s personal life was full of struggle. She married Arun Paudwal who was a musician but suddenly died prematurely which left her deeply shocked. Anuradha had two children Aditya and Kavita, but in September this year, Aditya died due to kidney failure, due to which she was badly broken.
