New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan’s film Goodbye has received many positive reviews from critics but still it had a weak start at the box office, even after the ticket price was low, the film failed to attract audiences in the cinema. After looking at the numbers, the film failed to give impressive numbers at its first weekend.
Box Office Collection
The film failed to gather a whopping amount on its opening weekend. On its first day, it collected Rs 1.5 crore and on the first Saturday, it earned Rs 1.5 crore with 18.34 per cent occupancy in the cinemas. On day 3, the film managed to collect hardly Rs 1.50 crore, taking the total box office collection to Rs 4.29 crore. After receiving positive reviews, the figure for the film is low.

Goodbye is also competing with Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan’s Vikram Vedha and Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: I at the box office. Well, Vikram Vedha is also struggling with the figures, while PS-1 has already crossed the Rs. 300 mark worldwide.

About ‘Goodbye’
Talking about Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna’s film ‘Goodbye’, it is a comedy-drama film, written and directed by Vikas Bahl. The music is given by Amit Trivedi and is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor. In the film, Neena Gupta, Pavail Gulati, Elli Aviram, Sunil Grover and Sahil Mehta are also seen in the lead roles.
