New Delhi: The wait is finally over for the fans of Salman Khan and Chiranjeevi with the release of their film GodFather on October 5 in theatres. Everyone was too excited to see two megastars together. The film performed very well on its opening day. According to media reports, it has collected Rs 35 crore globally.

Box Office Colllection

The film which hit the theatres yesterday (October 5), has done very well at the box office. According to trade reports, GodFather is estimated to have gathered Rs 25 crore on day 1. The official numbers are yet to come.

But, the film has been collecting positive reviews from the critics and audience, and it is expected that it will have a decent run at the box office.

About GodFather 

The film is directed by Mohan Raja and features Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, Satyadev Kancharana and Murali Mohan in lead roles. In this film, Bollywood star Salman Khan made a cameo. The film has clashed at the box office with Nagarjuna’s The Ghost.

In the interview, Chiranjeevi shared his thoughts on the box office clash with Nagarjuna’s action-thriller The Ghost, he told News18, “There is no competition with Nagarjuna. Both the films are unique and we are trying to showcase our talent in it and prove ourselves.”
