Filmmaker Sanoj Mishra has made explosive claims against Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi, formerly known as Wasim Rizvi, calling him a ‘Dharamdrohi’ (traitor to religion). In an recent interview with News24, Sanoj Mishra accused Rizvi of deceiving people by frequently changing his religious identity to gain political favours.
Sanoj Mishra revealed that Wasim Rizvi had conspired against him during the making of his film ‘Bengal Diary’. He claimed that Rizvi, in collaboration with the West Bengal government, orchestrated an attempt on his life. “He wanted full credit for Bengal Diary and used it as a stepping stone to enter the Rajya Sabha,” Sanoj alleged.
Referring to past reports of his disappearance, Sanoj Mishra asserted that Rizvi was behind it. “My life was in danger. I could only speak about it after meeting Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath,” he stated, adding that he had faced threats from both Rizvi and the Bengal government.

On the other hand, Rizvi has accused Sanoj of being a fraud. He claimed that none of Sanoj Mishra’s films had ever been released and that he disappeared after shooting, abandoning projects. Rizvi also alleged that Sanoj had a problematic personal history, including excessive drinking and harassment of women.
Political Motives Behind The Feud?
Sanoj Mishra believes Rizvi’s recent actions are a ploy to secure a position in the BJP and RSS. “He wants to be a Rajya Sabha MP. That’s why he keeps changing his identity,” he alleged.
