New Delhi: The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, which are being presented today, September 13 IST, honour the best television programmes from the previous year as well as the outstanding performances that characterised them. The Emmys 2022 are being held at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California, and are being hosted by Saturday Night Live actor Kenan Thompson. This year's competition features some of the biggest shows, including Ted Lasso, Severance, and Squid Game. Kenan Thompson, a regular cast member of Saturday Night Live, will serve as the evening's star-studded host for the first time. With 25 and 20, respectively, the most nominations going into the event, the casts of Succession and Ted Lasso are making sure to arrive on the red carpet in style. Succession has received an astounding 25 nominations for the 2022 Emmy Awards, which puts it in front of the field.
