New Delhi: The Weight Wait is Finally Over as T-Series, Wakaoo Films and Mudassar Aziz’s Double XL is finally out with its trailer. Double XL is a comedy-drama directed by Satramm Ramani. The movie stars Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi in the lead roles.

The trailer shows Sonakshi and Huma fighting stereotypes around body weight in the most humorous way. In the trailer, the actors can be seen struggling with their personal and professional lives due to their body weight, but eventually, find each other and become good friends.

We also get a glimpse of cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, who marked his Bollywood debut with the film. The cricketer was seen walking upto Huma in a party and asking her for a dance. But it turns out to be Huma’s dream. Similarly, Sonakshi Sinha, who is playing the role of Saira Khanna, wants to become a fashion designer and faces her own set of problems due to her body size.

Adding to the anticipation was a special surprise by the makers who announced the release date of the film. Audiences won’t have to wait much longer as the entertainer is all set to hit theatre screens on the 14th October 2022.

Sharing the trailer, Huma Qureshi wrote, “Rajshri and Saira are hungry to turn their dreams into reality! Get ready to be a part of their journey. #DoubleXL trailer out now. In cinemas on 4th Nov 2022.”

Shot extensively in India and the UK, Double XL explores a journey into the hearts of two plus-size women. Double XL comes to a theatre near you on 14th October 2022.

On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in the 2019 film Dabangg 3, starring Salman Khan. Meanwhile, Huma Qureshi was last seen in the Tamil film Valimai, starring Ajith Kumar in the lead role.
