Chahat Khanna was first offered Mona Singh’s role in Laal Singh Chaddha
Chahat was offered the role of Mona Singh, the character of Laal’s mother(Aamir Khan’s mother). But she had turned it down as she thought she wouldn’t suit the part.
A source close to her reveals,” Chahat had received a call from the makers to be a part of the film but according to her she wouldn’t be suitable for the role and didn’t wanted to be type casted as the hero ‘s mother .”
Meanwhile, Chahat is capturing headlines for her recent tussle of words with social media sensation Urfi Javed. Chahatt Khanna slammed Urfi Javed’s fashion sense and called it a ‘cheap show’.
Sharing Urfi’s photos, Chahatt wrote on Instagram Stories, “Who wears this? And on streets? I mean anyone would remove their clothes and media makes them a celebrity? Is Indian media so vulnerable? Its easy to buy this cheap publicity and media, this cheap show you’ll are promoting to our generation. Anyone would pay for spotting and do anything or even go nude and you’ll will carry? This is obnoxiously sad!! God bless you with some wisdom.”
In a recent interview with ETimes, Chahatt Khanna was asked about her spat with Urfi. She said ’Nothing actually happened, just that it was getting really tough to tolerate this nonsense happening since months on social media…”
