New Delhi: R Madhavan is garnering all the praises for his film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. There have been multiple reports doing rounds regarding the film. Now, R Madhavan has addressed one of the many rumours. The actor posted a screenshot of a LinkedIn user, who claimed that the actor lost his house while making Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. “Oh Yaar. Pls don’t over patronize my sacrifice. I did not lose my house or anything.” The actor added, “In fact all involved in Rocketry will be very proudly paying heavy Income Tax this year. Gods grace We all made very good and proud profits. I still love and live in my house.”

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Madhavan’s directorial debut, was also shown at the Cannes Film Festival this year. The film also featured cameos by Shah Rukh Khan (in the Hindi version) and Suriya (in the Tamil version). The film did poorly at the box office and is now available on OTT platforms.
Originally, R Madhavan was set to direct the film alongside Anant Mahadevan, but the latter opted out due to unavoidable circumstances. For those who are unaware, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former ISRO scientist who was wrongfully accused of espionage. He was imprisoned for the same offence in 1994.

Madhavan has appeared in films in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and English. To name a few of his well-known Bollywood films, 3 idiots, Rang De Basanti, 13 B, Tanu Weds Manu, Guru, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, and Zero. In terms of work, the actor appeared with Surveen Chawla in the Netflix web series Decoupled.
