Custody box office collection Day 5: Custody, a recently released movie starring Venkat Prabhu, was Naga Chaitanya’s top choice. The film, which was bilingual in Tamil and Telugu, did not, however, fare well at the box office. The movie made Rs 3.2 crore when it first debuted in theatres, but since then, its box office earnings have been steadily declining. The cop drama made less than Rs 1 crore on its fifth day of release (May 16) in India. This poses a serious threat to the movie.

Box office collection

The movie has been earning little money at the box office from Day 1. With a projected Rs 75 lakh in revenue on its fifth day, it has nearly crashed at the box office. The current sum of receipts is Rs 8.33 crore. With this numbers, the film will be removed from the theatres by the end of this week.

About the film

The movie is directed by Venkat Prabhu, and being produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the name Srinivasaa Silver Screen. The film’s art director is DY Satyanarayana, the production designer is Rajeevan, and the cinematographer is SR Kathir.

The movie stars Naga Chaitanya, Krithi Shetty, Sharath Kumar, Aravind Swamy, and Priyamani in lead roles.
