What Does The Film Potray?
The film opens with a commanding prologue delivered by Ajay Devgn, effectively setting the stage. The narrative revolves around Zooni Haksar, an ID field officer, whose successful operation to neutralize Burhan Wani, a Mujahideen leader and the son of a headmaster, triggers a crisis in Kashmir. Wani’s demise sparks widespread protests, with civilians resorting to stone-pelting in vehement opposition. Consequently, Zooni faces suspension from the ID and is relocated to Delhi.
As the story unfolds, Rajeshwari Swaminathan, Joint Secretary at the PMO, extends an invitation to Zooni to lead the NIA. Her mission: to restore stability in the valley and eventually repeal Section 370.
