Cirkus box office collection day 4: Cirkus box office collection seems to decline heavily. The movie starring Ranveer Singh opened in theatres last week, is performing poorly at the box office. The movie’s box office performance was poor on Christmas, and it declined even more on December 26 Monday. The movie barely brought in Rs 5 crore in India. The movie appears to be destined for failure at the global box office.

Rohit Shetty directed film is an adaptation of The Comedy of Errors. On Day 4, Cirkus earned around Rs 2 to Rs 4 crore at the box office. Reportedly, the film’s total collection is around Rs 24 crore.

83 and YRF’s Jayshbhai Jordaar were two straight disasters for Ranveer Singh. After the two films, the actor felt confident in his ability to carry off his part in Rohit Shetty’s blockbuster Cirkus. However, the movie did not appear to impress the audience based on the box office collection trend. The third-day data are now available, and they undoubtedly did not receive a nice response after a weak opening. According to Day 3 estimates, the movie brought in about Rs 7.45 crore on Day 3.
About the Film
Rohit Shetty is the creator and director of the period comedy Cirkus. Ranveer Singh plays two characters in the movie. The supporting cast includes Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Johnny Lever, Mukesh Tiwari, Siddhartha Jadhav, Sanjay Mishra, Murli Sharma, Sulbha Arya, and Vrajesh Hirjee. Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone both make brief appearances in the movie.
Cirkus is based on the Hindi movie Angoor from 1982, which was a remake of Do Dooni Chaar from 1968. The latter was a remake of the Bengali movie Bhranti Bilas from 1963.
