New Delhi: Indian Idol 13 is receiving attention for all the wrong reasons. The show is once more decried as being scripted, and online users are calling for a boycott. In a recent episode that was released in the middle of their verbal battle, Falguni Pathak and Neha Kakkar got along quite fine, leading some internet users to wonder if it was all a publicity trick. The dismissal of Rito Raba has now infuriated the online community.
After nationwide auditions, the Top 15 contenders for Indian Idol 13 have been selected. Rito Raba’s inclusion on the programme made the audience in Arunachal Pradesh happy, but he regrettably did not survive the most recent round of eliminations.
After finding out about Rito Raba’s elimination, several fans took to Twitter and questioned show’s credibility. While some started the trending hashtag ‘Boycott Indian Idol’, others demanded to bring back Arunachal Pradesh’s Rito Raba.
