New Delhi: Drishyam 2 is one of the most-anticipated films of all time starring Ajay Devgn. The film also stars Tabu, Shriya Saran, Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor, and Ishita Dutta. The actor made waves online on Tuesday when he released the first image from the look poster of the film, which also stars Shriya, Ishita, and Mrunal along with the Singham actor. The film’s recall teaser has now officially been released by the makers.
The teaser was shared on Twitter by film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Adarsh wrote, “AJAY DEVGN: ‘DRISHYAM 2’ TEASER ARRIVES…. The case reopens… Drishyam 2 recall teaser out now… Stars Ajay Devgn… Costars Akshaye Khanna, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor and Ishita Dutta… Directed by Abhishek Pathak… In *cinemas* 18 November 2022.” Ajay Devgn also shared the teaser on Twitter and wrote, “Vijay aur uske parivaar ki kahaani toh yaad hogi na aapko? Ki yaad dilaye? Drishyam 2 in cinemas on 18th November, 2022.”

In addition to being a remake of the 2021 Malayalam film Drishyam 2 starring Mohanlal, Drishyam 2 is the follow-up to the 2015 film Drishyam, which was directed by National Award winner Nishikant Kamat. The main character of the movie is Vijay Salgaonkar, a fourth-fail cable company owner who resides in a hilly Goan town with his wife Nandini and daughters Anju and Anu. In addition to his family, Vijay is an avid moviegoer. They find themselves in front of IG Meera Deshmukh due to a terrible event in their daughter’s life.
Drishyam 2 will release on November 18 this year. The film has been jointly bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Krishan Kumar. Viacom18 Studios, Panorama Studios and T-Series will present the upcoming Ajay Devgn whodunit.
