New Delhi: Angelina Jolie has filed divorce papers against ex-husband Brad Pitt, alleging him of drunkenly abusing her and their children on a private jet journey.
Jolie claims in a lawsuit filed over the purchase of a French winery by the stars that Pitt seized her by the head and assaulted two of their children during the 2016 trip.
While on the flight, Pitt “pulled her into the bathroom” in the back of the plane, says the lawsuit.
“Pitt grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her, and then grabbed her shoulders and shook her again before pushing her into the bathroom wall,” the filing adds.

During the journey from France to Los Angeles, Pitt verbally insulted and spilled booze on his family, she said.
However, a source close to Pitt has denied allegations. “She continues to rehash, revise and reimagine her description of an event that happened six years ago by adding completely untrue information each time she fails to get what she wants,” said the source. “Her story is constantly evolving,” the source said.
Pitt had accepted responsibility for some things in his past but that he would not accept responsibility for things he did not do, Pitt’s lawyer said.

Jolie and Pitt’s divorce has dragged on for years, exacerbated by a custody struggle for their children and, more recently, a lawsuit filed by Pitt over the French vineyard Château Miraval, which the pair purchased more than a decade ago.
Pitt’s complaint, filed last year, accused his ex-wife of breaching his “contractual rights” when she sold her share of the firm to a Stoli Group subsidiary without his permission.
Angeline Jolie and Brad Pitt met each other on the set of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” a 2005 action movie in which they played married assassins. The couple has six children.
