Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, aged 81, has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai on Friday. Big B was hospitalized for peripheral heart treatment rather instead of the coronary heart issues, said sources.

As per the insider, the actor is undergoing an angioplasty to address a clot in his leg, not his heart.

After the news surfaced over the social media, the fans have flooded the micro blogging websites with the ‘get well soon’ posts.
Till now, Bachchan family did not comment anything on the matter.
Having featured in numerous blockbusters in his career, the actor has been struggling with a series of minor health issues for a while now. Earlier this year, he underwent wrist surgery, which was followed by a month-long hospitalization in 2020 due to a severe battle with Covid-19. Unfortunately, he contracted Covid-19 again in 2022. In July 2023, he was unable to travel to San Diego due to medical restrictions.
With the news shocking fans, they took to their social media accounts to post heartfelt messages for the actor.
One user said, “‘I pray that you stay healthy.” Suddenly, rumours floated on social media that he’s in a critical condition, however, as per an article on India TV, the actor has undergone an angioplasty for a clot in his leg and is recovering soon.
