Manoj Rajput, a builder from Chhattisgarh and a prominent actor in the local film industry known as Chollywood, has been arrested by the police. He stands accused of sexually assaulting a minor girl over a span of 12 years under the guise of marriage. Manoj, who stars in the Chhattisgarhi film ‘Gaon Ke Zero Shahr Mein Hero’, was taken into custody following a complaint filed by a 29-year-old woman at the GRP Bhilai-3 police station. Initially involved in real estate, Manoj transitioned to acting and is also active as a producer and director in the industry.

What Did The Victim Say?

According to the victim, she has been having an affair with Manoj Rajput since 2011, 1.e for the past twelve years. That was when she was a minor. With the promise of marriage, the star has been sexually abusing her for the past few years. The offender was taken into custody by the police under Section 376, POCSO, and 377 Act. The girl revealed that the actor had consistently sidestepped her when it came to marriage. Now she has clearly refused to marry. On the complaint of the victim, the police has started investigating the case.

Cases Against Actor Manoj Rajput

Manoj had been in prison previously for land fraud. Additionally, he is charged of illegally planning on several hundred acres of Durg land in front of the Nagpur Highway Toll Plaza, where Durg Corporation had already begun the demolition process. According to BK Borjha; In-charge of GRP Bhilai-3 police station , the girl was underage when the incident occurred. He was sixteen years old. Consequently, under the POCSO Act, a case has been filed against Manoj Rajput.
