The wedding, which united two different worlds – that of cinema and politics, was graced by the presence of both the bride and groom’s families, as well as their close-knit group of friends. Raghav Chadha delightedly posted a series of pictures and videos from the pre-wedding events.
In his Instagram post, Chadha humorously mentioned that their pre-wedding rituals, featuring games like musical chairs, lemon & spoon race, the three-legged race, and a friendly game of cricket, were truly delightful. Although they didn’t come out as winners in these games, they managed to win the hearts of the Chopras, especially Parineeti, who has become a beloved member of their family. However, some of them ended up with a few battle scars!
Parineeti Chopra joined in the revelry, sharing a collection of images on her own social media account, accompanied by an extended caption in which she detailed the unconventional ‘ritual’ games they partook in. She humorously described the games, from musical chairs to Jenga, lemon and spoon races, and many more. With a playful tone, Parineeti Chopra amusingly quipped, “In the game of cricket, watch out for cricket legends within the family, especially your mother-in-law, who will skillfully change the game with a wicket on the final ball, securing a victory. The bride even summoned her bridal powers to enlist the support of World Cup cricketers to her side.”
Chopra also emphasized that these games were not just about winning or losing but about creating cherished moments, joyful laughter, and forging lasting bonds. She expressed, “Now, about setting the trend: It’s not just about winning or losing. It’s about the incredible moments, the cheers, the laughter, and most importantly, the bonds formed. Our Chadha-Chopra War was an epic battle where both sides emerged victorious and hearts were well and truly conquered.”

The couple’s engagement took place in May, and their wedding in September took many by surprise. Although they had known each other for years, their relationship was not widely known until a few days before their engagement.

The engagement ceremony was hosted at Kapurthala House in New Delhi and was graced by the presence of Parineeti’s cousin and global sensation, Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
The pre-wedding festivities commenced with a Mehendi event in Udaipur on September 22, followed by various other wedding rituals on September 23, culminating in the grand wedding ceremony on September 24.
