CUET PG 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) started the application process for Common University Entrance Test-Postgraduate (CUET PG 2023) on March 20. Along with the application form, the agency has also released this year’s CUET PG information bulletin, official website, and syllabus at the official website of CUET — cuet.nta.nic.in —
Candidates who are planning to fill out the form can access the registration link, available on the website. This year, NTA has also introduced some changes in the exam such as increased registration fees, number of subject choices etc.
According to the schedule, the registration started on March 20 and will end on April 19. After that, the correction window will be opened on April 20 to 23. The agency is yet to release the exam dates and admit cards for CUET PG 2023. Once these two things are released, applicants will be able to check them on the official website.
CUET PG 2023: New Changes
Applicants should review the changes introduced this year before completing the application form through the official CUET PG website.
CUET PG application fee hiked – The NTA has raised registration fees for all categories by Rs.200 from last year. Candidates in a general category have to pay Rs 1,000 and for candidates below OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS, the fee is 800 rupees. Applicants from outside India applying for three tests will have to pay Rupees 5,000.

Candidates had to pay 200 rupees for additional test papers. However, this year the candidates are required to pay Rs.500 for each additional exam paper and prospects outside India have to deposit Rs.1,500.

Several subject choices – Candidates may select up to 20 test paper codes in total. Each question paper contains 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Candidates must select English or Hindi when registering for Part A. Last year, a candidate could only apply for one slot and one course.
Exam cities reduced in India – The NTA has reduced the number of test cities and centres for the CUET PG 2023 exam from 554 to 337.
Exam cities abroad increased – The number of overseas test cities has increased from 13 to 24. New overseas test cities include Thailand, Brazil, South Africa, Qatar, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Russia, Canada, USA, Riyadh, Australia, Austria and Mauritius.
Last year, the candidate was able to choose her four favourite cities. But now, only two cities can be selected based on permanent or current addresses.
CUET PG 2023 will be conducted in English and Hindi (bilingual), but language and Sahitya papers will take 2 hours. This year, a total of 142 colleges have been selected for CUET PG 2023.
