What is Single Girl Child Scholarship?
The objective of this scholarship scheme is to provide scholarships to meritorious girl students who are the only children of their parents. Under this scheme, during 11th-12th, girl students will be given a scholarship of Rs 500 per month for two years.
Eligibility
To apply for this scholarship, the student must have passed the 10th and 12th examinations from CBSE affiliated school. Along with this, it is necessary for this application that the student should be the only child of her parents and should have scored 60 per cent or more marks in 10th. CBSE said, “The objective of this scholarship is to promote education among students and encourage meritorious students. Note that the scholarship will be renewed for one year.
CBSE 2022: How to register?
- Visit the official website — cbse.nic.in —
- On the homepage, click on the scholarship link
- Now, click on the link that reads, ‘Single girl child scholarship X-2022 REG’
- On the new page, select the type of application — fresh or renewal
- Now, fill out the application form with proper and accurate information
- Upload all the required documents
- Submit it and take a printout for future reference
The scholarship will be updated for one year, i.e. successful completion of class 11, and the student has secured 50 per cent or more marks in class 11 and has been promoted to class 12.
