New Delhi: In reply to a girl asking for free sanitary pads from government, Bihar Women Development Corporation (WDC) Managing Director said tomorrow there will be demands for condoms.
“Is there an end to this demand? You can also give jeans pants tomorrow. The day after tomorrow can also give beautiful shoes. In the end, condoms will also have to be given for free,” said MD Harjot Kaur Bamhrah, IAS.

The argument between the girl and Harjjot heated up with the reply. The girl pointed out that there are several such policies of the government and it’s their right to put forth their demands for safety.

“When the government is doing so many things for us, including giving us uniforms and scholarships, why can’t it provide sanitary pads, which will cost only Rs 20-30?” said the girl.
The MD replied, “There is a height of stupidity. Don’t vote, then. Become Pakistan. Do you vote for money and services?”
The event took place at a programme under ‘Sashakt Beti, Samriddh Bihar’.
