New Delhi: The rains of the second round of monsoon are now proving fatal for the people. Due to the rains and floods in the states of the country, there has been a lot of destruction. In many states of the country, the danger of overflowing rivers has also increased. Heavy rains have wreaked havoc in many states including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of heavy rain in many areas even today. MID has predicted rain in 18 other states including Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu .

On the other hand, heavy rain is forecast in isolated parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh, West Rajasthan, Jharkhand today.

On the other hand, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and lightning in isolated parts of Assam and Meghalaya in West Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal.

On 26 and 27 August, there may be rain in Chhattisgarh. At the same time, there is an alert of heavy rain in East Madhya Pradesh on August 27 and 28. Along with this, there is a possibility of cloudy sky and light to moderate rainfall in Bihar and Punjab till August 27.
