Noida: Delhi and Delhi-NCR have been witnessing heavy rains for the last few days. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding this. In view of the rain, all the schools in Noida, NCR, have been closed. Due to heavy rainfall, there was waterlogging on the roads in many places. On the other hand, people have taken respite from the heat after the rains.

It has been raining for the last 48 hours; water has filled in many areas in Noida, which was recorded after many years. Due to this, Yamuna approached the danger mark. There is a traffic jam on almost all the main roads in Noida. Images of submerged vehicles and moving boats on underpasses and roads went viral on social media. A young man is seen swimming after a road in Noida was flooded.

An alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department. It has been told that heavy rains are expected in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Baghpat, Meerut, and Hapur during the next three days. Therefore, people have been instructed to take precautions. Late Saturday evening, the Meteorological Department warned the people living in this area by sending SMS on their mobiles.
