Ahmedabad: In the early hours of Thursday, a heart-wrenching tragedy struck on the ISCKON flyover in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. A gathering of onlookers had formed around the site of a collision between a dumper and an SUV when disaster struck once more. An over speeding Jaguar luxury car, hurtling at approximately 160 kilometers/hour, crashed into the unsuspecting crowd and two traffic constables present at the scene.
Two constables among the dead
The horrifying impact left six individuals dead instantly, while the two constables succumbed to their injuries later at a medical facility. In addition to the devastating loss of life, thirteen others suffered varying degrees of injury, adding to the anguish and shock of the incident.

Night out turned deadly
Most of the victims were young students hailing from Bhavnagar and Ahmedabad. It was their routine to venture out and explore the city during the late hours. Tragically, their night of camaraderie and exploration took an unimaginable turn, ending in profound grief and sorrow.
The series of events began after midnight when the group of friends witnessed a collision between a dumper truck and a Thar SUV. Acting responsibly, they promptly informed the police, leading two traffic constables to arrive at the scene for an initial inquiry. However, amidst this already dire situation, fate dealt a cruel blow as another car, the Jaguar, careened into the crowd, amplifying the magnitude of the tragedy.

As investigations continue, the driver of the Jaguar car remains under medical care for the injuries sustained during the accident.
It is being told that the Jaguar car was coming from Karnavati Club. Nine people, including a constable and a home guard, were killed in the accident, while three others were seriously injured. It is being said that some people fell 25 to 30 feet away due to the jaguar collision.
