New Delhi: A woman policeman was seen beating her elderly father-in-law in Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar area on Sunday in the presence of another police officer. The female sub-editor slapped her father-in-law several times before the policeman intervened in the CCTV footage. This whole incident is now very viral on social media.

It can be seen that before the attack, the woman and her mother had a heated argument with the elderly man in front of the policeman. After this the matter increased so much that the female inspector started slapping the father-in-law. His mother was also involved in the attack.

The police have registered a complaint against the woman policeman under section 323/427 of the IPC but she has not been arrested yet.

According to reports, Vijender Gupta (66) lives with his 62-year-old wife Veena in Garhwali Mohalla of Laxmi Nagar. Vijender Gupta’s daughter-in-law Chanchal is posted in the Defense Colony police station as a sub-inspector in Delhi Police. She married Ankur Gupta in 2020. After four months of marriage, there was a dispute between the two, after which Chanchal went to her parents’ house.

On Sunday morning, Chanchal came to her in-laws’ house with her mother and started knocking on the door. The elderly couple called the police and informed about the matter. The police have registered a complaint in this regard, but the relatives allege that no action has been taken against the accused so far.
