Uttar Pradesh: A fire broke out in a house in UP’s Kushinagar on Wednesday afternoon. Five people, including three children, were burned alive in the accident. Apart from these, three other people have been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. At present, the cause of the fire has not been known in the investigation.

According to the information, this incident is in Maghi Mathia village, under the Ramkola police station area of Padrauna tehsil of Kushinagar. District Magistrate Ramesh Ranjan and SP Dhawal Jaiswal reached the spot along with the force. The District Magistrate said that five people have died in the accident, and three are undergoing treatment in critical condition.

The district police said that the exact cause of the fire could not be ascertained. On the other hand, CM Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the incident. He has instructed the district officials to speed up the rescue and relief work. Condolences have been expressed to the families of the deceased. The District Magistrate has said that a compensation of Rs 4–4 lakh will be given to the victim’s family.
