UP Crime: A man along with his girlfriend allegedly killed his wife in a car while going to Hapur in Uttar Pradesh from Ghaziabad district. After reaching Hapur, the man told police that a robbery took place during the journey and miscreants killed her.
Accused Vikas Sharma prepared a plan to get his wife Sonia out of the way as she was being obstruction in his extra-marital affair. After which, he strangled wife to death with a rope in the middle of the journey.
Hre told the police the fake news story of the murder of the wife for protesting during the robbery. The accused husband told the police that when he reached near Nizampur, some miscreants stopped his car and started looting. Meanwhile, the miscreants killed his wife when she protested.

Revealed on strict questioning
However, the police strictly interrogated the accused husband in custody, after which he confessed the crime. Disclosing the incident within 12 hours, Hapur SP Deepak Bhukar said that the accused had a love affair with a girl working in the pharmaceutical company in which the accused was employed.
Victim knew about the affair
The woman knew about the love affair of Vikas due to which, the two used to fight frequently. After which the man made the plan with his girlfriend to kill the wife.
Searched on Google for ways to kill her
As per the police official, accused Vikas Singh searched on the internet for how to kill by strangulation and where he can find a pistol. Police recovered data of his phone to make these revelations.
The police have also got some audio recordings from the possession of the accused husband. The police arrested the accused husband and sent him to jail.
