New Delhi: Prostitution was taking place at Seven Senses, a spa centre located in City Center Mall in Rohini Sector 10, Delhi. On a tip, the police raided the spa. The police arrested six women involved in the business, as well as the owner of the spa centre. The accused is being interrogated by police as part of their investigation.
According to police, the Prashant Vihar police station received information on Wednesday about prostitution taking place in the Spa Center of City Center Mall, Rohini Sector 10. To confirm the information, the police formed a team led by station in-charge Rajiv Kumar Vats and overseen by Assistant Commissioner of Police Aarti Sharma.
Following that, the police team arrived at the specified location. The police team sent a police officer dressed as a customer to the spa on the fourth floor of the mall. When the women arrived at the policeman, they were each brought in front of him in turn. The policeman who went as a customer gave a missed call and indicated to the police team after the deal was settled for 1500 rupees.
The police team raided the spa centre as soon as they received the signal. Six women and the spa’s owner were arrested.
During the investigation, it was discovered that the owner, Hitesh Malhotra, who was present at the reception, had taken Rs. 1500 from the bogus customer. He was the one who showed the six women at the spa. Hitesh Malhotra is a resident of Indra Colony in Sonepat, Haryana, according to the police.
During the day, the spa owner used the premises for prostitution. With the help of his acquaintances, he used to provide paid service to customers. The women are residents of the surrounding area, according to the police.
