Indore: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mahakal Lok inauguration on 11 October in Ujjain, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday shared Akash Rajwanshi and Vijay Mukati’s music video and appealed people to participate in the inauguration program.
PM Modi, who is on a three day visit to Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, will visit Ujjain on 11th to dedicate Mahakal Lok, a special corridor constructed under an expansion project for the Mahakaleshwar Temple.
The project will help in enriching the experience of pilgrims visiting the temple by providing them with world class modern amenities, PMO had said.

Praising Akash & Vijay’s melodious voice, Chouhan appealed to the countrymen to witness the mesmerising inaugural event.
“Akash and Vijay have appealed to the people of the state to come to the inauguration program of #ShriMahakalLok by praising the glory of Lord Mahakal with their melodious voice,” Shivraj Singh Chouhan said.

Akash Rajwanshi (23) & Vijay Mukati (22) both started a band named ‘Údan Khatola’ five years ago with a view to promote folk music.
Through the band, Vijay says, they are trying to re-promote Rajasthani, Nimari, Malawi, Kashmiri etc folk music among the masses.
We have been receiving quite a good response, especially from young people, on our music performances, this strengthens our belief that folk music’s taste among younger generations is growing and growing, adds Vijay.
