Noida: Sub Mall in Sector-27 Noida averted a major accident when the dome of the roof collapsed on Thursday morning. The shopkeepers of the sub-mall have accused the maintenance department of not taking care of them.
It was a matter of honour that, due to the morning time, the buyers had not started visiting the mall; otherwise, a big accident could have happened.
Shopkeepers running shops inside the mall told me that a lot of money is collected from them in the name of maintenance. The dome of the roof of the mall was weak, but despite that, it was not being maintained. Maintenance is not taken care of at all at the mall. And because of the incident, fewer people are visiting the mall out of fear.
Shopkeepers say that complaints have been made many times regarding maintenance, but no hearing was held. If this accident had happened during the daytime, many people could have lost their lives. For this, the builder should take proper steps. If the builder does not get it fixed at the earliest, then the shopkeepers will complain about it further.
