Alvida Jumma 2025: Uttar Pradesh Police have strengthened security measures in the stated in view of Alvida Jumma or Jamat-ul-Vida. Alvida Jumma is the last Friday of the holy month of Ramzan. This year the day falls on March 28. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Prayagraj, Abhishek Bharti briefed about security measures. He stated that Quick Reaction Teams (QRT), Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) and the Rapid Action Force (RAF), have been deployed in sensitive areas. The arrangements have been made to maintain law and order in the state.
Drones are used for surveillance and the city has been divided into sectors and zones in view of the Alvida prayers. “The entire city has been divided into sectors and zones in view of the Alvida prayers. QRT teams have been deployed in sensitive areas. PAC and RAF are also being stationed. Surveillance is being conducted using drones. Foot patrols are being carried out,” DCP Bharti told ANI.
Security Measures In Lucknow
Joint Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Babloo Kumar, added that over 1000 police personnel and nine companies of PAC have been deployed in Lucknow for security. He added that monitoring will be done through CCTV cameras and drones.
Along with this, proper security and traffic arrangements have been made in Lucknow. More than 1000 police personnel and nine companies of PAC have been deployed. Traffic diversions have been announced for smooth vehicular movement. CCTV cameras and drones will be used to monitor across the district.
