Chhattisgarh: Six people, including a child, died in a road accident in Chhattisgarh’s Baloda Bazar district on Monday. According to the Palari police, the accident took place near Goda Bridge in the Baloda Bazar district when a pickup truck carrying over two dozen people rammed into another truck.
Baloda Bazar SSP Deepak Jha said that a child and a woman were also among those who died in the accident. After learning about the accident, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed grief over the accident.

Bhupesh Baghel tweeted the sad news and wrote, “Six persons, including a child and woman, were killed in a road accident that took place in the Baloda Bazaar district of Chhattisgarh A pickup vehicle carrying over 2 dozen people was hit by a truck leaving six dead. The accident took place near Goda Bridge under Palari Police Station limits.”
He said that the officers of the district administration have been instructed to provide all possible help to the dependents of the deceased and the relatives of the injured.
According to the information, the dead include Dhaneshwari, Prabha, Dhaneshwari’s mother, Ghanshyam, Shanti, and Hema Dhruv. Three of these women died on the spot, while two others and a child died after reaching the hospital.
