Pune: A 30-year-old man killed his sister-in-law and her two minor kids, and set the bodies on fire. The accused has been arrested under Sections 302 and 201.
The incident took place in the evening in the Kondhwa district, they claimed, adding that the accused was reportedly enraged over his 25-year-old sister-in-law’s alleged affairs with other men.
The woman and man had an argument in the morning on the same day an incident took place regarding having relations with another man.

An officer from Kondhwa police station said, “In a bid to dispose of the bodies, he set them on fire using bedsheets and wood in a tin shed in front of the woman’s house in Pisoli area of Kondhwa at around 9 pm on Wednesday.” “In a fit of rage, the accused reportedly strangled her and her two children, ages four and six.”
He added, “We are investigating and questioning the accused to discover more details about the case.”
