Noida: The multi-story vehicle parking at Sector-18 in the city will soon become smart parking. Cameras will be installed in it. People will also have the facility to pay through Fastag and UPI. Cash payments for vehicle parking will be discontinued after some time. The Noida Authority has selected the company to run the parking.

The Noida Authority has given time until June 30 to the selected company to complete all the necessary works related to parking. The combined parking capacity of both multi-story and surface parking is around 4,300 vehicles. The multi-story parking lot can accommodate 2,823 four-wheelers and 180 two-wheelers. In addition, the surface parking has space for 1,062 four-wheelers and 279 two-wheelers. A total of 3,885 four-wheeler and 459 two-wheeler parking spaces are available in Sector 18. Authority officials told me that the company has been selected for five years.

These features also include bookings from the app. Surface parking with multi-story buildings will be recorded and monitored by cameras. In this regard, the senior manager of the authority, Vijay Rawal, said that the company has been selected to make the parking smart. The company has been given time until June 30 to complete the necessary work. Noida Authority’s parking app is ‘Noida Authority Park Smart’.
