Noida: The Yamuna Authority has found a new way after the objections of the farmers in the process of purchasing land to build a 100-metre-wide road in the north and east directions of Jewar Airport. This road is to be built by December, so it is to be built on the land being acquired for the second phase of the airport. This road will be 75 metres wide. Its length is 10.6 kilometres.
To buy land on the basis of consent from the farmers, advertisements were taken out and objections were sought from the farmers. After this, the farmers raised their objections. Had it been acquired, it would have taken all the time. While these roads are to be built by December. After this, other options were considered. 1365 hectares of land are being purchased for the second phase of Jewar Airport. It is being acquired. In the second phase, there is a provision for a 45-metre-wide road. This road is to be built on the same side where a 100-metre-wide road is to be built for airport connectivity.

Now this 45-metre-wide road has been reduced to 75 metres. In the second phase, the width of this road has been increased. The land surrounding Jewar Airport is owned by the Civil Aviation Department. That’s why work has been done on this under the seal of SP Goyal, Additional Chief Secretary of the Municipal Aviation Department. Now there will be no need to buy land separately to build a road. A six-kilometre-long road will be made in the north direction. In the east, its length will be 4.6 km. Its width will be 75 metres.
