Noida: The three big reasons behind a jam are those passing through Noida-Greno, which can be difficult this week. People may get stuck in jams at various places. Complete preparations have been made for this; about 100 traffic policemen were sought from other districts, out of which about 40 have been found.

Jamming is becoming a big problem in Noida-Greno. The width of the roads is small compared to the number of vehicles. Due to this, there is jamming on the main roads as well. Long queues of vehicles are seen at many places, including the Noida-Greno Motorway, Film City Road, Sector-62 Model Town, Chijarsi, Kisan Chowk, and Ek Murti. This week, three big programmes are to be held in Noida-Greno in terms of traffic.

Three reasons for traffic jams

1. Jam on Chilla and Kalindi Kunj roads due to Kavandis

The number of Kavandis passing through Noida will increase starting Monday. Okhla Bird Sanctuary enters on the way from the Chilla border via the Kanavani canal in Ghaziabad. From here, go towards Delhi via Kalindi Kunj Road. The problem of jams will increase on the Chilla border towards Noida’s Mahamaya flyover and on Kalindi Kunj road towards Delhi. Apart from this, many Kawandis will also pass through places like Sector-62 Model Town, Chijarsi, NIB, Dadri, Bharatpur, etc. In such a situation, 200 to 250 policemen have been put on duty in the Kanwad Yatra in the entire district.

2. Due to Baba Bageshwar Dham’s visit

The journey of those passing through Noida-Greno can be difficult this week. People may have to get stuck in jams at various places. The reason for this will be three big events and rain. Traffic police officials claim that people will not be allowed to face traffic-related problems. Complete preparations have been made for this. About 100 traffic policemen were sought from other districts, out of which about 40 have been found.

3: Commonwealth Weightlifting Games in GBU

The Commonwealth Weightlifting Sports Competition will run from July 12 to 17 at Gautam Buddha University. In such a situation, traffic on the route around GBU is expected to be affected. Traffic police officials said that traffic policemen will be deployed on the concerned routes, including Pari Chowk and Kasna, to manage the system.

4 Rain is one of the reasons for traffic jams

This week, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of continuous rain. Due to rain, jams are becoming a big problem in Noida. In such a situation, continuous rain will also put a brake on the speed of vehicles. Continuous rain will become a big problem for the traffic police. Due to the breakdown of vehicles and the filling of water on every road in the rain, long lines of vehicles form within a short time. In such a situation, along with three big programmes, it will prove to be a big challenge to maintain the traffic system better during the rains.

Traffic DCP Suniti said that preparations have been made for a better traffic system during the big programme to be held this week. Given the Kanwad Yatra and Katha, along with the diversion, the duty of policemen will be imposed at different places. Policemen will also be deployed along the route of the sports competition. About 40 policemen, including TI and TSI, have been found in different districts.
