Noida: Police forces are deployed at various places in Noida to deal with any untoward incidents on the occasion of Ul-Adha, i.e., Bakrid, which is being celebrated across the country today. A flag march by police, prayers on the streets, and the sacrifice of prohibited animals have been banned. Namaz Place and sensitive places in Sector-8 Jama Masjid are being monitored through CCTV cameras. On the other hand, an advisory has been issued by the traffic department to ensure that traffic is not affected during this period. It has been said that on the occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha prayers on June 29, 2023, traffic will be diverted as per the requirement on the routes falling around Jama Masjid and Surajpur Masjid located on Udyog Marg.
A Noida Police official said that sensitive places have also been identified regarding animal sacrifice. Police took out flag marches at many places. More than 1,000 jawans have been deployed near Sector 8 Masjid for Eid. The area around the mosque is being monitored with the help of drones and CCTV footage. Along with this, strict instructions have been given to the elements that spoil the environment. If someone spreads false rumours on social media, action will be taken against them.
