T S Singh Deo to be Deputy CM in Chattisgarh

New Delhi: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday approved the proposal to appoint TS Singh Deo, a senior leader and Minister in Chhattisgarh government as the Deputy Chief Minister. 

Indian National Congress, in a press release, said that a proposal for the appointment of TS Singh Deo as the Deputy CM in the Bhupesh Baghel government has been approved. 

“Hon’ble Congress President has approved the proposal for the appointment of TS Singh Deo as Deputy Chief Minister in the Chhattisgarh Government,” said the press release. 

Party General Secretary KC Venugopal described TN Singh Deo as a loyal congressman and expressed his hopes for the Congress government to be re-elected in the state. 

“INC President Sh. Mallikarjun @khargeji has approved the proposal for the appointment of Sh TS Singh Deo @TS_SinghDeo ji as the Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. He is a loyal Congress leader and an able administrator. The state will benefit greatly from his services as Deputy CM,” tweeted KC Venugopal. 

Congress General Secretary said that his party will form a government in Chhattisgarh again. 

“We are confident that the people of Chhattisgarh will re-elect the Congress with a thumping majority under the leadership of Kharge ji and Rahul Gandhi ji,” said KC Venugopal.
