Noida: Lakhs of people going from Noida to Delhi will get great relief from the Ashram flyover. However, a part of the flyover was coming over a high-tension power line, due to which it could not be commissioned yet. The high-tension lines were to be shifted to unipolar, which are now ready, and electric wires have also been installed on them. The wires have been raised with the help of two unipolar placed on either side of the flyover, which are at a height above the flyover.

The PWD official said that by removing the high-tension wires hanging at a low height, the connection of the electric hydro pole has been given to the new high-tension wires installed between the two unipolar poles, and the high-tension wires present at the low height have been removed. Due to this, there will be sufficient distance between high-altitude vehicles passing through the flyover and the high-tension line, and the drivers of heavy vehicles will be able to pass through this flyover easily.

Lakhs of vehicles travel from Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad to South Delhi every day. Drivers often resort to DND to go to Delhi. Vehicles passing through DND until the Ashram intersection have to face traffic jams every day. After the commencement of this flyover, people have felt some relief.
