Mumbai: As many as four people have died in an accident where a van fell into gorge on Wednesday evening. The incident took place in Mumbai’s Amravati.

As per the news agency PTI report, the victims belonged to Akot in Akola district. The group of the deceased were coming back to their place from Susurda village in Dharni taluka. They used a pick-up van for transportation after they were heading back home from selling vegetables in a weekly market.

However, the van slipped into a gorge near Ranigaon in Melghat region around 7 pm.

In the horrific accident, none other people were also injured who were immedietaly rushed to the hospital for treatment.
