They were in a relationship and lived together in the Ghaibi Nagar neighbourhood, according to the Station House Officer of Bhiwandi Town Police Station. The two frequently battled over trivial matters, and during one such fight on Monday around 1.30 p.m., the victim was fatally struck by their partner with a floor tile, according to the official. A transgender person from the vicinity informed the media that neighbours tried to interfere during the altercation on Monday, but the accused drove them away, stating it was their personal problem.
