New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party is in a league of its own in MCD elections which is evident from the enormous public support it is receiving in each of its programmes.
On Thursday, Senior AAP Leader and Delhi Dy CM Manish Sisodia held Nukkad Sabha in 9 wards of Aadarsh Nagar, Wazirpur, and Model Town and interacted with the local people.
He took note of all the civic issues being faced by the public due to the incompetence of BJP in handling MCD for the past 15 years.
Manish Sisodia appealed to the public to vote for AAP to end the maladministration of BJP in MCD since the past 15 years.
He said, “This time people should vote for Aam Aadmi Party to end BJP’s failure and misrule in MCD. AAP’s vision is to make Delhi the most beautiful capital of the world in the next 5 years by coming to MCD, whereas BJP’s mentality is to give more and higher mountains of garbage, to make the lives of people even more miserable and abuse Arvind Kejriwal.”
Sisodia further added that BJP has turned Delhi into a dumpyard. The work that could not be done by BJP in the past 15 years, AAP will do in just 5 years.
While speaking about the mountains of garbage in Delhi, the AAP Senior leader said, “People should take selfies with the mountains of garbage because, after December 7, Delhi will get rid of it soon. CM Arvind Kejriwal has prepared a blue-print to eliminate the mountains of garbage from Delhi. That’s why this time to remove the garbage from Delhi and BJP from MCD, people will vote the Kejriwal government to power in MCD and will elect Kejriwal’s councillor too.”
Manish Sisodia said, “When the public questions the leaders of the BJP about what they did in the past 15 years in MCD, BJP leaders curse Arvind Kejriwal 1000 times and abuse him. If the public asks what will you do in the next 5 years, then the BJP leaders say that they will continue to curse and abuse Arvind Kejriwal. And if the public asks who will get their work done and get the garbage in Delhi cleaned? Then BJP says that only Kejriwal knows that.
Manish Sisodia said that Arvind Kejriwal knows how to work for the public and provide them with basic amenities. He is the one who has a blueprint to get Delhi rid of mountains of garbage and make the national capital beautiful, so the people of Delhi will vote the AAP into power in MCD. The public will choose people who will get their work done and not those who will spend tenure abusing Arvind Kejriwal for 24 hours and restrict the work of the public.
When asked about the work of CM Arvind Kejriwal, the public shared the long list of governance works, whereas they unanimously said “zero” when asked about BJP
In Nukkad Sabha, when the public was asked about one work done by Arvind Kejriwal, the public counted more than 10 works. But when Manish Sisodia asked them about the works of the BJP in the last 15 years in MCD, the public unanimously replied ‘Zero’. People said that BJP did nothing but to deceive them for 15 years. That’s why the public is ready to remove BJP from MCD this time.
In the past 15 years, BJP has converted Delhi into a dumpyard. Cleanliness in Delhi was the core responsibility of MCD but they failed terribly in managing it. Instead, they gave the capital three mountains of garbage. He said, “Whereas Delhi government under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal emerged as an honest government and fulfilled all its responsibilities. Under his leadership, the Aam Aadmi Party government built excellent schools, built excellent hospitals, and provided free and 24-hour electricity all over Delhi in just 7 years.
Manish Sisodia said, “Now the public will give a chance to AAP to get their work done. Under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP government in Delhi has emerged as an honest government and fulfilled all its responsibility. This is the reason why people will vote AAP into power in MCD. People must ensure that AAP and AAP’s councillor must come into power in MCD because If a BJP or any other candidate gets elected in any ward, he will spend his tenure fighting with Arvind Kejriwal and stopping development works.

Manish Sisodia said that BJP in its 15-year tenure in MCD has turned Delhi into a dumpyard. The only achievement of the BJP in the past 15 years is sky-high mountains of garbage. But now Delhi is going to get rid of them. Work to remove these mountains of garbage will begin after December as soon as the Kejriwal government is formed. Arvind Kejriwal is ready with a blueprint for this.
Instead of cleaning the garbage of the city, BJP cleaned the pockets of the common public through Lenter Mafia
Manish Sisodia said that garbage has piled up on all streets across Delhi but BJP is not at all concerned about it. But when a common man is building his house with hard-earned money, BJP-MCD people reach there immediately and extort money from them for lenter. They loot the hard-earned money of the common man. He said that BJP’s MCD collected lakhs of crores of rupees from traders in the name of parking charges etc. but till date, they have not been given parking facilities to them.
If a common man opens his shop, MCD people land at the shop even before the customer
Manish Sisodia said that the public is fed up with the extortion mafias of the BJP-led MCD. When a common man opens a shop, the MCD people reach his shop to collect before the customer arrives. But the people have now decided that it’s time to end the rule of mafias. They will elect the Arvind Kejriwal government in MCD and his councillor in their ward.
BJP converted national capital into a dumpyard; couldn’t fulfill MCD’s core responsibility to keep Delhi clean
Manish Sisodia said, “This is such a shame that BJP has turned the national capital into a dumpyard due to their failure to manage the garbage. Because of them, today there is a pile of garbage on the streets and roads of Delhi. It seems like there is no authority like the municipal corporation in Delhi. So now it is the responsibility of people to choose to vote AAP into power in MCD and throw out the BJP from there which has done nothing in the past 15 years. We ensure the cleanliness of the city in just 5 years, which BJP failed to do in 15 years.”
If there will be Kejriwal’s government in MCD, then the councillor should also be of Kejriwal
Manish Sisodia said, “People across Delhi have taken their decision to give a chance to Kejriwal in MCD too because when they gave a chance to Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi government, he did several works and made Delhi a better place to live. People need to understand that if there will be a Kejriwal government in MCD and councillors will be of BJP in any ward, then the chances of development in that particular area might reduce because after the elections, BJP councillors will have just one agenda which is to fight with Arvind Kejriwal and restrict development work. The kind of development an AAP councillor will bring into the ward, that is not possible in the tenure of a BJP councillor.”
Manish Sisodia appealed to the public and said, “Delhi public will vote AAP into power in MCD, they must also ensure that they elect an AAP councillor. Only AAP councillors will ensure development works in their respective wards. Any other party candidate including BJP will only spend his tenure fighting with Arvind Kejriwal and stopping development works.”
