Dharavi (Maharashtra): The Dharavi Police on Sunday arrested one more accused in a case related to the death of a 26-year-old Kabaddi player, Vimalraj Nadar. The deceased was killed by bludgeoning to death with a cricket stump. The incident took place on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday here.

Earlier, the police had arrested two accused including Mallesh Chitankadi (32) who have confessed to the crime during interrogation. Chitankadi was arrested on July 23 from near his house.

A case under IPC Section 302 (Punishment for murder) have been registered against the culprits.

Meanwhile, people in a huge number gathered before the Dharavi Police station demanding justice for the deceased athlete.

Vimalraj was killed over enmity in the past. The deceased was survived by his siblings and parents.
