Noida Schools To Remain Closed From Sept 21-25; Here’s Why?

All academic institutions in Uttar Pradesh's Noida will remain closed on September 21 and September 22 due to Trade Fair, Moto GP.

New Delhi: In recent directives issued by the District School Inspector of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, all academic institutions will remain closed on September 21 and September 22.

In its order, the department ordered that schools from nursery to Class 12 will be shut after 2 pm on September 21 and September 22. The move has been taken to increase children’s particiapation in the UP International Trade Show 2023 and the Moto GP events that will be taking place in the city. The order is applicable to all schools affiliated with any board.

It should be noted that that there will be weekend falling on September 23rd and 24th that counts as a technical holiday for the institues.

Apart from the schools, the order stated that colleges, universities and higher educational institutes will also remain shut on the given dates. Dharmveer Singh, district inspector of schools, Gautam Budh Nagar issued the order.

“In compliance with the instructions given by the District Magistrate, after 2.00 pm on 21st September 2023, in view of the possibility of huge crowd and to ensure that there is no inconvenience to the students and parents in view of the law, security arrangements and traffic arrangements, there will be a holiday on 22nd September in all the schools of all the boards from class nursery to class 12. Make sure to strictly comply with the above orders,” the letter stated.

UP Trade Show, Moto GP

The Moto GP event will be from September 22 to 24 at Buddha International Circuit. Meanwhile, the UP trade show will be held from September 21 to 25 at Greater Noida Expo Center, which will be inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu. As many as seven department are likely to participate and set up their stalls.

Uttar Pradesh Chied Minister Yogi Adityanath said the international trade fair will allow people to know about the rich cultrue and cuisine as well as craft originated from the state.
