New Delhi: Lucknow police has arrested the infamous murderer Sufiyan in the Nidhi Gupta murder case after an encounter. Police had an encounter with Sufiyan in Dubagga area. He was shot in the leg following which he was arrested. He was then taken to the hospital to receive treatment.
Sufiyan has been accused of making Nidhi convert into Islam and later killing her. The Lucknow Police Commissionerate had announced a reward of 25 thousand on Sufiyan. The relatives of the victim had accused Sufiyan of throwing Nidhi from the terrace.
Lucknow police was raiding multiple locations for Sufiyan’s arrest
After the death of Nidhi Gupta, the Lucknow Police was continuously raiding for the arrest of Sufiyan. More than half a dozen teams of Lucknow Police were following Sufiyan. In surveillance, the last location of Sufiyan’s phone was found in Chowk. A team was also sent to Delhi to look for Sufiyan. Meanwhile, his location was to be in the Dubagga area. When the police reached there, Sufiyan was caught following an encounter.

On November 15, a girl named Nidhi Gupta died during treatment after falling from the fourth floor in Duda Colony of Dubagga area of Lucknow. The relatives of the deceased had accused Sufiyan of throwing her from the terrace. There was a lot of uproar regarding this on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the matter of love affair going on between Sufiyan and Nidhi has also come to the fore. Sufiyan is absconding since the occurrence of the incident. Whereas, on the plea of the mother of Nidhi, a case was registered against Sufiyan.
