‘I killed my husband’: Jalaun woman reaches Kotwali with ‘bloody’ hands; Know why
Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh: A disturbing incident has taken place in Uttar Pradesh's Jalaun district. A woman cut her husband with an axe here. Not only that, but after killing her husband, she went to the police station and told them she had killed him. According to police, the husband used to beat up the woman after consuming alcohol.
Husband used to beat her every day after consuming liquor
According to the information, Sandeep (30) lived with his wife Sandhya in Mohalla Umrar Kheda of Jalaun district's Kotwali area. They got into a fight late Sunday night. Sandeep then fell asleep. Sandhya then slashed him with an axe. Sandeep passed away on the spot.
Following this, the woman walked to the Kotwali and informed the police of the situation. The woman has been arrested by police.

Police takes charge
According to Shivkumar Singh Rathore, in charge of city Kotwali, when the woman was questioned, she revealed that her husband was an alcoholic. He used to come home after consuming liquor every day and beat her after that.
She was also assaulted late Sunday night, prompting the woman to take a terrible step. The police arrived at the scene and took the dead body, according to the Kotwali in-charge.
The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.

Stir in entire Jalaun district
He stated that senior officials were informed of the incident. The woman is being prosecuted in court.
At the same time, the incident caused a commotion throughout the Jalaun district. The news of her husband's murder by the woman spread like wildfire throughout the neighbourhood.
