Hyderabad SHOCKER! Woman Techie Allegedly Raped In Auto, Driver Flees The Spot

The woman later reported the incident to Gachibowli police and informed that the auto had no number plate. She was sent for a medical examination later.

In a shocking incident from Hyderabad, a 30-year-old woman was allegedly raped by an auto-rickshaw driver in the early hours of Tuesday in his vehicle. The incident took place at an isolated place in Gachibowli.

The woman who works as an employee in a private firm reportedly arrived from Chennai at railway station around 1.30 am. She then hired an auto to go to Nanakramguda.

According to the police, the woman techie claimed that the driver strangled her and snatched her handbag which had cash and an identity card. The complainant further alleged that the accused warned her not to reveal the incident to anyone before fleeing the spot.

The woman later reported the incident to Gachibowli police and informed that the auto had no number plate. She was sent for a medical examination later. The investigation is ongoing. The accused is said to have been booked but there is no official confirmation about his arrest.
