Hyderabad: A woman passenger was allegedly raped twice in a moving bus by a bus helper on the night of September 18. The police officials reported that the victim boarded the bus from Kukatpally and was on her way to Andhra Pradesh when the incident occurred.
On spotting the woman passenger traveling alone, the accused identified as 27-year-old Sai Kumar Reddy sent her to the backside seat of the bus stating it would get overcrowded and she would be disturbed.

He reportedly gagged the woman and raped her after all the passengers fell asleep.
According to the police, the accused even threatened to murder her if she raised her voice and sexually assaulted her for a second time.
The victim filed a complaint at the Choutuppal Police Station on September 21. The police registered a ‘Zero Fire’ and subsequently transferred the matter to the Kukatpally police.
Following the victim’s complaint, Kukatpally police arrested Sai Kumar Reddy and registered a case against him.
