Hyderabad: A shocking incident has been reported from Hyderabad, where a 22-year-old man allegedly killed his wife on the day of their wedding. The incident occurred on November 8. The accused had met the woman at a temple five months ago. They had grown closer and became friends on Instagram later, stated the police.
The accused has been identified as Pollola Vignesh. He had proposed the woman a month ago. The woman had accepted his proposal and the couple started living together in a rented house. Police said that after some time of living together, Vignesh discovered that the woman used to talk to some other person on the phone. He had asked her to stop this. Their relationship hit the rough patch when the woman asked him to marry her.
As per reports, he had promised to marry her after informing his parents, but it didn’t convince her. The woman continuously insisted him to get married and had even threatened to kill herself if he delayed further.
How Did He Kill Her?
Reportedly, Vignesh then resorted to hatching a plan to kill her. To avoid suspicion and make it look an accident, Vignesh decided to marry her first and then kill later. He asked for help from his friend.
As per the plan, the couple married on November 8. Vignesh, and his friend Saketh, bought garlands and mangalsutra in Balapur. They performed the wedding rituals, and Vignesh asked his wife to inform her mother. The same evening, after Saketh went to work and his wife Kalyani for groceries, Vignesh allegedly banged his wife’s head against the wall. He strangled her with a saree after she fell unconscious.
Upon returning, Kalyani discovered the women’s body and informed her husband, Saketh. The couple helped Vignesh to dispose of the body at Tukkuguda.
Police began investigation after the incident came into light.
