Uttar Pradesh: A man killed his wife for demanding non-veg during Navratri and dumped her body in the well. The incident took place in Bantikhera village, Shamli district. Police arrested the husband within two days of the body being found.

Shamli OP Singh’s ASP stated that accused Anshu and Eesha married in court 10 months ago after falling in love with each other.

Singh stated that during interrogation, Anshu confessed to his crime and stated that he attacked Eesha with a sharp-edged farming weapon after she demanded non-veg food during Navratri on March 29, and also insisted on going on an outing.
